I've been using SharpFile for the past few weeks now, and love it! The new design is awesome, and I can;t wait til even more promotional buttons are put out for use

Sharpfile, i am still having problems in my account.
I can not be giving the true profits that should have.
I have a total of 30 downloads, in a 450MB file, and only earn $0,045 .
But in reality would have had to have earned the following:
Group C: $ 4.50x1000 Downloads.
$4.50 /1000 = $0.0045 x 30 Downloads = $0,135 in my account but i have only $0,045 , i was told only the 33.33 per cent of what should have won.
I would like an explanation in this regard, since multiple users of a forum, we are passing the same to all.

I also noticed the statistics are wrong!
I have only told to wait to July 26!

I have tried several times to remote a 1024MB file from my FTP, but the file always freezes at 99%!!
With other hoster the remote upload was fine. Why? :/
Cant guarantee it work while 100% until new custom made script is installed at end of month.

We are looking into this, and honestly right now I dont know or have an honest answer yet.I am working on it though. With our new script we are making there wont be these problems

What country are those 10 downloads from ? You need a few more downloads than that before you say the stats are not working my friend
Also, I have guys that are getting over 20K downloads a day and making GREAT money... I am trying to find out, some people saying there stats not working right.. I am 100% looking into this right now, but so far I cant find the problem.. BUT we wont stop looking until its right

And NEVER change any rates !

Hi man, I think in the first comment he's trying to say he didn't give the link out, yet it shows 1 download count. I've noticed it with xfs (on other file hosts) but dunno if it's the script itself with an error or just the admin having a nosey. Not that it really matters, but I took a good minute trying to work out what it meant ha

Yes, I think you are correct.. I will be so happy once this new custom script we are developing is finished. Its rally gonna be great!!!

You can't seriously be complaining that free users are getting at least double the speed that most other file hosts give ?
As for the stats - I can't even tell you how much time we have put into tracking down the issue - seriously we have chased this beyond all reason. I can tell you that the script is set right in all respects. What bothers me is that some affiliates are reporting good stats (and very good earnings), whilst some others are reporting the opposite, yet we make no distinction between users - everyone is subject to the same methods of tracking and calculation - go figure !
It's worth pointing out that some downloads are probably from premium users, and in that case (as with most hosts) we count 1 download per premium user per 24 hours per affiliate - that is to say that an affiliate can get earnings credited for 1 download per premium user in any 24 hour period. Obviously this affects the download / earning ratio as a premium user may download 20 files from an affiliate, but although 20 downloads will show in the stats, only 1 of them will actually earn for the affiliate. (hope that makes sense). Just to be clear - there are still a lot of premium users out there who bought their premiums before they where temporarily withdrawn from sale - premium accounts will be coming back with the new site launch.
Unfortunately this was necessary because the way things where we where seeing a lot of abuse. If you think about it, no host offers resume/accelerator support and unlimited parallel downloads for free users, and the reasons are 2 fold - firstly there's not much point in buying a premium account if you can get the same features for free, and a host can't survive if it can't sell premiums. We set it the way it was when we removed premium accounts from sale as it seemed only fair, but that leads us to the second reason - allowing free users to have these features leaves us wide open to a number of different ways to manipulate the system - and this has been happening.
Put simply guys - if you want us to survive and be a decent host then we need to make the changes we have made.
