sharing internet on 2 pc problem (help)

hello respected members

yesterday i bought cat5 crosscable

now iam easily send files through 1 pc to another


but iam not able to surf internet on the second pc
means iam not able to share internet
any suggestion plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

configuration of DESKTOP LAN
ip 192.168.0.1
subnet mask 255.255.255.0

configuration of LAPTOP LAN
ip 192.168.0.2
subnet mask 255.255.255.0

iam not able to surf internet on my laptop

plz tell me

shudnt the config be 192.168.1.xx o.o for IP... and also add DNS info in both the computers.
