Serious Help About Dedicated Server & VPS - HYPERVZ

Hello Friends,

I bought a dedicated server two days ago for hosting but i am stuck with some of the problems. I took help from my server provider and he told me these things.

Here are the things which i did :

1- Created RESOURCE PLANS.
2- Added VIRTUAL MACHINES.
3- Installed KLOXO on one of the VPS.
4- Pointed Reverse DNS. Chose DEFAULT DOMAIN and IPs.
5- Installed LAMP and started the services.

But Here are my main Problems :

I tried to check the speed of the server by installing RAPIDLEECH on it but when i try to download a file in it, a page shows with just only the background of RAPIDLEECH and when the file download completes, it shows it. It is happening only in MOZILLA FIREFOX, i have also tried this in OPERA, its working fine in it.

Second Problem is regarding to the above problem that i can't open the site until file downloading process completes.

Above is the explanation of my problems. In short, my problems are below :

1- Blank Page with just only background of RL shows.
2- Can't open the site while a download is in progress.

Kloxo sucks tbh..
I would say..install a clean version of CentOs 5.x and install LAMP
and also there are some issues with the latest version of rapid leech with firefox ..
to test speed of your vps installing rapidleech is not the only way..
you can download a test file using wget command and check the speeds.

if you just want to keep the current things..try allocating more memory to php and play around with httpd config..

Honestly, for a VPS I would use webmin -> http://webmin.com/ very light and very good.

and from hypervm I would install centos + webmin . Everything is automated.

for hosting setups he need virtualmin NOT webmin, let me know if you need any help.
