Exactly, has many more useful things. in vBulletin you have to install vBSEO which gives some CPU usage problems. IPB has SEO friendly URL's right out of the box.

Also, your skin looks like a redesign of the default

For some reason the site doesn't feel appealing to me. You have pretty much all the same color everywhere; try to add some variations to the site. Also try adjusting the visual hierarchy of the site.
