I have a problem when i am trying to install sBorg on one of my vps's..

I upload the installation files and then click to the install.php but then this comes up after about a minute of loading:

Here is a screenshot showing Fileserve, Rapidshare and wUpload upload working fine (tested today on sBorg 5.312)

Also, the new sBorg 5.4 is in beta testing phase. Its got a LOT of new features and some major speed improvement mods which can speed up your download by 10~20 times! We've also added some much requested filehost download plugins and improved on some upload filehosts (specially filesonic upload).

Beta testing lasts 1~2 weeks so this version of sBorg will be out around 20~25th August!

From2,8 mb, who is a decent speed a download, to 0,200 mb next one.

You are lucky... I was downloading a 700 MB movie from Filesonic. First 200 MB was downloaded at 1.7 MB/s, then next file at 0.047 MB/s... Thats why i started to code the regular download plugin as their API is seriously messed up! Hopefully their regular download works a bit better...

download speed of filesonic is really show on NL server,is it filesonic or some issue with sborg?
also em facing issue while uploading to fileserve it sorts of get stuck at 99%,have submitted ticked for this issue,upload speed is also down or maybe it gets stuck at 99% and remaining 1% takes ages

since u r releasing new version so try adding some features like as of IDM so that it downloads with full speed not with 3mb at maximum

Stuck at around 99% means file has already been uploaded. Its either retrieving the download link from fileserve or loggin in to the next filehost. IDM is a multi-threaded software while PHP is single threaded. When PHP goes multi-threaded, we'll code a multi-part downloader.

On our beta test, the speed shows improvement however i cant say for sure. You'll have to see it for yourself as if i say more, i'll be giving away the secret of sBorg 5.4

sBorg requires some settings on server side, such as php 5.2 (sborg runs without progress bar) or php 5.3 (all good) and the loaders being added to PHP.ini (automatically done on cPanel/Virtualmin servers running suPHP/cgi-wrappers), so it depends. The beauty of sBorg is if you can install it, you can run it. It means if it wont run on the system, it wont even let you install it (and thus saving a install ticket).

The long awaited sBorg v5.4 is finally available! How to upgrade: http://forums.sborg.us/thread-87.html

After over 2 months in development, countless hours of coding and recoding has finally paid off! We have done it! We have made sBorg download multiple files at once! Yes, you read it right, we have made sBorg download multiple files simultaneously! This means if you enter 10 links at once, sBorg will start downloading all 10 files side by side. You remember us saying PHP wasn't multi-threaded so we cant do something like that? Well it turns out there are some functions that can be used by advanced level programmers to do multi-threaded (or simultanious) downloading.

It wasn't easy to understand (as you know, we are not advanced level programmers) so we had been working on it secretly for the past 6 months, 4 months of which we are trying to understand the basics, and the last 2 months, recoding sBorg to implement the modified downloader function that is able to perform simultaneous downloading by the help of virtual multi-threading.

However that is not all we did. We realized that if an abuser starts to download 100 files at once, its bad for a reseller, where as you might want to download 100 files if you are hosted on a personal super sized server. So, we've added an option to set the "number of connections (or simultaneous downloads) an user can run" on install page. The default value of 50 is for personal servers, where as resellers may want to lower it to a more reliable value that fits their server.

We've also added a master control switch to sBorg's index page. This will let you KILL all sBorg instances at once! Did something wrong or want to stop your running sBorg process? Just go to index page, set master switch to "Stopped". This will stop all sBorg processes and prevent running of new processes. When you want to use sBorg again, just set it to "Active".

From now on, sBorg will generate both BB codes for forums and HTML codes for sites together! Both post templates will be mailed to you (and saved in logs file) so that you can just copy paste it to any forum or site of your choice.

We've received a lot of requests for filehost download plugins, so we've added Wupload, Uploaded.to and Uploadstation download plugins!
