IMO you need to:-

Get a favicon (if you have one it is not showing for me on FF)

Change the theme (too plain)

No logo to speak of.

it's really a good start man!
the skin is ok, you just need two things: a logo, and take care of your posts layout.
try to make your posts have a common attractive layout.
+ it's not the time for that intensive quantity of ads
