Not sure if this has been suggested. I did try searching through this section but found no results using the keywords I thought it might come up under. If previously discussed/suggested sorry for the new thread.

As WJ transitions from what it was to what it will become it may be a good idea to install this mod or 1 similar that will display important messages or rule changes. I usually look and today there was a important new rule/rule change buried under several other threads and almost missed it.

For those that do not know what this does id it simply requires a user to read a certain post(s) the staff wants you read before you continue with your visit to the site.

I am sure many members miss rules changes all the time and do not bother checking for any either. This would take the common "I did not know that was a rule." or the popular "That must be/Is that a New Rule? Is isn't know!"

I think what we have now is good. If you're a responsible member then you'll bother on reading rules and announcements. But if you're the opposite, you'll just ignore them.

I come to WJ more regularly than a lot of members, and yesterday I missed the new warez rule. Was about to break it, when some one was talking about it in the Chatbox.

As a member of this board, I believe this should be fine. You cannot just say "If you don't read it from the thread, you won't read it from any where." As this board has other members too who have other opinions.

It is your duty to put it out there, and the member should decide if he will read or not. Doesn't matter if he does or not, coz if it is not out there, and members should be allowed to break it, till it is widespread, as it is not visible properly to the normal person.

The absolute most FAGGOTORY MOD EVER INVENTED.
DO NOT WANT.

Just have to ask, I can understand that you dont want people talking about illegal warez and other things, but what is the deal with talking about uploading tips, and files hosts in general?

It doesn't make sense to ban something that is not illegal
