(rate) Different layouts for site

Hello guys,

I am making a personal website, it is still in the works.

Im just confused, and like they say - it is better to ask the audience on how they like it

enough chit chat, please let me know which one is the best out of the layouts.

ps. The banner is still in the works, for now im just using a place holder.

This site isn't really meant to be flashy, but should appear nice

Anyhow, Do you think i should go with the final layout A or B? :S

First one makes it look much more attractive. It gets too dark in the second one. Also, you can do a lot better with the typography.

Why are you using visible borders? If you MUST, style them using CSS to take away the default look.

That is because this is a college project and that I have to follow certain rules/guidelines.

I went for the 4th layout and the banner which is colorized.
