Its because 90% of uploads comes from users who doesnt bring us views and just spams.

The score is calucated from views/how much you files have ratio to prevent encodings overload.

We cant encode every files for every users who just upload and dont bring us views, we cannot buy more encoding servers for no reason.

Good users are greater than score 20 and they dont have issues with that.

In remote upload page there is a bug, i fix it.

I support this new changes , because I'm a webmaster and I request payment every 2 weeks , not every day , so because of uploaders who mass upload everyday and complain about not getting any views and payment on time a rank system is a good thing , makes you work harder and not spamming with no reason.
 
As I explained, many abuse the encoding system and storage, because he upload a lot of lot videos just to be on the search index and try to earn money from the search engines.... but we dont have a lot of money for storage and encodings... This is something that is fairly spread between the users who needs them and use the ressource wise. So no more ressources wasting. As i can see, the encoding system got very fast because of that limitation.

Yesterday, we saw one big site, that doesnt bring us traffic, but mass-uploads 24/7 with 20 multiple accounts to get around the limitations, even after banning him, he countined to upload and always overload the encoding systems. We cant increase the encoding servers number for no reason, if anyone can't bring us traffic, because we need traffic to work the system better.

Thats why the limits need to be placed, so the good uploaders will not get hurt, for those who need fast encoding and earning money at the same time.

The score is calucated from total number of views / number of files stores = your score .

So in general, less files stores with many views = the better outcome. One user who upload 10-20 videos with 1000 views per day of each video can easily reach the top rank. Even a small user with brain can reach the next rank with 100 views across 5 videos.

Guys, what do you think about our ranking system with different limits? I will increase it a little after we get more servers soon.

As i can see, all encodings works smoothly. Are you noticing it too?

I think you should increase upload limit to peasant and knight to 100/200 and decrease samurai and emperor to 500/1000.
