Can you do something about Fileserve.com speeds from NL DC? Getting around 3MB/s, sometimes I see even 10MB, but it waggle a lot, I'd be happy if it was at least 10MB/s but stable :)

I have lowend Kimsufi box and their speeds to Fileserve are bout 10MB - don't know about max speed, as it maxes 100mb link.

Here are traceroutes from Rapidspeed VPS:

If you could do something about it I'd really appreciate. But speed to EU servers is awesome :)

If you are using a script like Rapidleech/Sborg - you should know that 3mb/s is the max you go as fileserve cap @ 3mb/s per connection. :)

Only with a DL accelerator like IDM / jdownloader - you can use multiple connections per file and get awesome speeds .

I use my own scripts. And I was talking about upload, not download. Uploading with HTTP upload method. FTP to fileserve is even slower, only 1MB/s. But sometimes I am able to reach about 11MB/s to fileserve with HTTP upload method, but it's really not stable speed.

The speeds you get to Fileserve are quite normal. Fileserve has it's servers in US so don't expect big upload speeds. OVH gives you better speeds because they give you guaranteed bandwidth. The downside is that they have traffic limits.

If your main concern is uploading to fileserve, you should consider getting a US server instead of a EU one.

Thank you very much for clearing this up for us, it's nice to have users who can help.

We have changed back to TeliaSoneria from GBLX for Fileserve as we believe this is the best path until LeaseWeb has even more peering/transit links in the USA (every week or two they add 10G more).

Just a reminder.

Our USA & Netherlands Special Promotion ends in two days (and it wont be back again).

50% off US DEDICATED SERVERS - use coupon code: US50
25% off NL DEDICATED SERVERS - use coupon code: NL25

Have a great week everyone!

They will never provide you screen shots LOL

Think yourself : will 100tb.com or leaseweb provide you screenshots ?

im using a 100Mbps NL server and i have only tested download speeds, so far the only drawback is the fileserver speed because it wont go higher than 1000 KB/s for me. The other download hostings i have tested have worked very well.

any test link for Q-100 server?
and can i add more than 2hdd if i order raid 1?

Hi Okpaa,

We have over 1450 servers sold, so we have enough customers out there with positive reviews that should be able to show you the speeds are fantastic.

You just need to look through this post to see multiple speedtests/screenshots from active Wjunction members.

We're one of the fastest growing hosting companies in the world for a reason, and it's definitely not by providing bad customer service/speeds.

Yes, RAID 0 or 1 you can add up to 4 hard disks. (You would need to state this in your order, so you are put on a HP ProLiant DL180 G6 server (which can take 4 hdd's) as opposed to a DELL PowerEdge R210 (which can only take 2 hdd's)... although, 92% of our servers are HP :)

If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
