how to know changed speed ?? must restart or any do ??

No, it will be automatic and already in place now - you don't need to do anything.

From what i heard - the NL servers ( Evoswitch Network ) have better upload speeds to Filehosts like Fileserve/Filesonic even though they are in the US .

They do have great speeds for a EU server to US, yes :)

In the US - only with Softlayer network you can get awesome speeds to Fileserve/Filesonic

Are filesonic not based in NL, so we would be better? And Fileserve is US (choppa), so SL would be better.

yes, some my friend tried and say same : Evoswitch Network connect to Fileserve/filesonic, wupload is great. so why reason i choose rapidspeed

Thanks :)

Not really Darren - Filesonic has some servers in EU but the majority is located in the US

Anyway i'll compare the NL server graphs with those from softlayer network and post a review soon :)

Currently :

Rapidspeeds NL Servers ( Evoswitch ) : Download Speeds / Upload Speeds

Rapidshare : Fast/Good
Megaupload : Good/Acceptable
Fileserve : Fast/Good
Filesonic : */Depends ( at times slow , at times acceptable )
Wupload : Good/Good ( Upload is still buggy though )

Rapidspeeds US Servers : Download Speeds / Upload Speeds

Rapidshare : Acceptable/Slow
Megaupload : Acceptable/V.Slow
Fileserve : Fast/Acceptable
Filesonic : */Depends ( Good-Superb )
Wupload : Good/V.Slow

* These Speeds are only for RL/Sborg etc..... that uses only 1 connection for Download/Upload .
* Wupload Currently have Major uploading issues from most USA servers/Network
( Reason i wanna try a EU one )

Question:
Are all 1gbit dedicated servers full duplex? meaning both download and upload speeds can reach 1 gbit at the same time? if so, is this the same in both US and NL datacenters?

I'm thinking about getting a US server, I hope the promo lasts till the end of the month. :)

Ok, everyone who is complaining about the upload site speeds.

As I said, we buy our own bandwidth, so we can pick and choose which transit provider we use for certain destinations (provided we have an alternative).

We had it set to default which most times uses the best route possible, and DTAG (Deutsche telekom) is a enormous company, normally with great speeds, but seemingly not to these upload sites.

So what have we done to fix this?

We have changed the traffic carrier and re-routing DTAG traffic, and already we see traceroutes/preliminary testing is between 5x - 10x quicker.

Please let us know how things are now, we welcome your feedback.

You rock! GREAT speeds now on my dedicated! Thanks, thanks, thanks.

Darren please cancel my movement to NL, now i´m happy on USA server (i already reply on my ticket too, but to be 100% sure that my server will remains on USA).

I will arrive later with some screens of new speeds but new fileserve speed is 41026 Kb/s , GREAT!

=)

Yes they are Full Duplex :)

Into the USA serve (upload speeds):

Fileserve using Zoom Uploader: between 40Mb/s and 50Mb/s
Filesonic using FTP : between 7 Mb/s and 14Mb/s
Uploadstation using FTP: between 2Mb/s and 5Mb/s

If someone needs to know speeds into the USA server for one filehosting, PM me and i will run a test.

Yes, we were doing some upgrades :)

One thing I do want to point out [Ashburn, VA] peering is now active as of today, more EU <-> US transatlantic bandwidth capacity was activated a few hours ago and Cable & Wireless transit has been activated. TATA to come.

This will make speeds more stable and in most cases faster.

Every week or so, LeaseWeb plan on adding more peering/transit links, until the whole of the USA is covered. They are building the exact same network model in the USA as in Europe, whilst making sure both are linked, which will no doubt mean dominance for them.

1Gbps unmetered costs €899 with Leaseweb, we're giving you it 50% off (less than two weeks left of that deal) for the moment, and £170 thereafter... I don't know how to stress just how good a deal that is.

As a business, we're very happy with how things are going at the moment, and our monthly sales figures and positive comments I am seeing everywhere reflect that. In the next 6-8 weeks, we will be moving into a building which will eventually start the foundations of our own datacenter... but that's a good few years from now.

We want to thank everyone for sticking with us and making us what we are today! We really appreciate all the feedback (positive and negative) as it helps us stay on top of problematic situations as a company, and address issues much faster. We also want to thank the WJunction staff for allowing this post to stay open for so long, because the amount of Sales and feedback that has helped us improve our company as a whole that we have received from this post alone is absolutely incredible.

Have a great weekend everyone.

If you have any questions/queries, you know where we are.

yep yep... i just run new tests and woooha some hostings increase speed, some results:
Userporn upload: 50MB/s
Wupload upload: 10MB/s

Nice upgrade ;)

Edit: was temporary speeds, all returns to previous speeds... userporn 1 MB/s again :/

Listen, information like this will just not do. Please provide me with something I can work with, screenshots/bi-directional traceroutes... that sort of thing, and submit them in a ticket or email support.

Any news about this ? Where's all staff and admin ? :(

Kunc, you are a reseller, why are you asking this sort of question in a public forum? I've been fantastic with you so far have I not? I've definitely went the extra mile for you... You have several servers and know how to contact us, so don't be shy. A disk replacement we can get done in a few hours. Live Chat has been on all day as well :)

my dedi is win 2008 ,i want to install VPS with CentOS + cpanel, how to ??

Answered this ticket yesterday.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! =)

Can you do something about Fileserve.com speeds from NL DC? Getting around 3MB/s, sometimes I see even 10MB, but it waggle a lot, I'd be happy if it was at least 10MB/s but stable :)

I have lowend Kimsufi box and their speeds to Fileserve are bout 10MB - don't know about max speed, as it maxes 100mb link.

Here are traceroutes from Rapidspeed VPS:
Code:
