^ its still happened with your provided flv video. we cant skip through video ok we get it but we can skip in buffer part. bug is if someone click on non-buffer part it will put back at starting point & lose all buffer parts. means we have to buffer it again.
thats the bug i hope you get it now.

i have pick direct link from somewhere & jwplayer from somewhere but it did not happened there through i cant skip through video.

@iAmDjmAd i totally get you. I got you the first time. I explained to you its not that simple to fix. The stream is coming from rapidshare directly. When you are clicking on a non buffered part its not yet available. Our script have to tell rapidshare somehow that it should start sending the data from that point. My coder is working on it, thats all I can tell

update: my coder managed to figure out how to fix the skipping issue in flv videos. still working on the rest of the formats

@iAmDjmAd we were suffering a DDOS attack tonight targeting our main site. We moved to a new datacenter with ddos protection. The downtime was for about 3 hours and we are really sorry about it, its up now and shouldn't happen again

(btw on a side note: i noticed the overuse of the "facepalm" smiley on this forum. Facepalm should be used when someone does something blatantly stupid. A brand new service [which now serves over 50k video streams / day] being down for 3 hours due to a ddos during night is not that case... but its just my opinion)

@rafat, very shortly. I know its been a while since we announced that we will do it but until now we couldn't figure it out how to make it profitable. If its not profitable then its not good for you and not good for us either

Anyway my coder is working on it now, it should be rolled out in the next couple of days

Wow, this sounds great... can't wait for the embedd option... Then I can make a new watch-movies-online website (serbian only, though)... and make my rapidshare useful!

Thanks!

When rapidshare chooses to make downloads IP limited, you're basically screwed :(

I had the same concept with bayfiles awhile ago but then they limited the downloads to be IP specific.

@rafat i had a look but our reporting is accurate. 99% of your traffic is coming from Russia. I'm looking into finding a Russia specific advertiser we can use and if I find one moving Russia to tier 2 or 1 for you

@bluefrogx not when you have tons of premium accounts and tons of ips ;) we are using this tech on our high traffic TV site for almost a year now without problem so we are confident

I meant IP specific as in downloads have to come from the originating IP, bayfiles just implemented that and bitshare recently implemented a hidden cap :(

@bluefrogx i know what you mean and the downloads are coming from the same ip. they are going through our server therefor rapidshare sees our server's ip

Ah okay, anyway I'm interested if there's an API system. I've got loads of vids and somehow adding them 1 by 1 via post would be quite troublesome.
