I just tried it as a free downloader myself a few minutes ago and I didnt see any exe file or exe anything. Some pop ups did appear though. Perhaps that is what people are talking about. I used a friend's computer, so there was no possibility of my premium account being recognized.

I suspect the reasoning behind this action is more than what they are saying. The administrator did not even consult any member before taking that action. Just like that, all of sudden, he fired his shot. Damn uploaders and downloaders and whatever commitments they might have with respect to filehosts.
