Ranks: Explanation & Duration

As you can see there are different ranks in WJunction.

Each rank is pretty much self explanatory from the title of the group. One thing you should know that ranks are based on "invitation", mostly decided by members of staff.

We mostly promote a member to a specific rank depending on the member's activity, contribution and overall status in the community. However, given ranks are not permanent, it can be revoked at any time if any changes or incidents occur.

Final note, please don't contact staff members over and over asking them to promote you to a specific rank, that will only delay or prevent you from getting the rank in WJunction.

Update:

We recently restarted the respected groups (Respected members and developers). We also changed our strategy in regards to promoting members to the mentioned ranks.

It is now decided by both staff and members in the respected groups, they vote or nominate a certain member, if majority agrees and all is well, the member will be promoted. In some rare cases an exception is made, however, it is extremely rare.

This is a measure to keep the respected group(s) intact, without loss in its meaning or structure.
