PHPBB3 Modifications?

I'm about 50% through making a new skin, before I put it up I need some ideas on what to add.

I was thinking;

- Shoutbox
- Announcement area
- The obvious pages for DMCA etc.

And some things that include external JS files, but that's for another time,

I just need some suggestions that would make it a cooler place to be, the skin is looking pretty cool so far,

Any ideas?,

Or what would anyone recommend for a phpbb3 board,

Well ryan sir you could download impex ( Modification ) then change your database to vbulletin thus modifying your PHPBB3 into vBulletin.

Still not a MOD for PHPBB, its more of a conversion aid.

I would no longer have PHPBB3 on my server, again making it a pointless recommendation,

So any serious answers?

Hey,

I'd recommend a ''latest posts'' mod if phpBB have one that is. A link checker bot would be good later on as having it at the start isn't such a good idea. Also, I personally like a logo switcher i.e. When you refresh another logo shows. That's all I can come up for now. Thanks.

In my opinion you should keep it at a minimum, just add the modifications you really need, quick reply is a must, very useful, I used to use evil< 3's quick reply, simple and does the job.
