Photoshop Issue

(I'm currently using CS4: Extended)
Usually when I'm applying brushes it outlines where this brush is going to go. For some reason now it doesn't do that, now its a major pain to use brushes. Anyone know how I fix this to make PS give the outline again?

What do you mean outline?

To install a brush all you need to do is...

Double click the brush file which will open Photoshop then click the brush tool and scroll to the bottom of the brush types and wabam theres the new brush you installed.

like when you use the brush tool and you select a brush it outlines where the brush is going to go, nows thats disappeared and I want it back :p

maybe the brush u use is too big for the canvas thas what happens to me
if u make the brush smaller u can see the outline

Try to restart your computer so it could reset the photoshop settings. It happens to me sometimes

happens ALL the time, usually after i do some heavy modification to the picture with another tool, the outline tends to dissapear. Try not doing such intense pictures =p

So yea, restart should fix itself
