I have this actually coded, and I am still working on it, however wanted to get some feed back so far. The banner and the forum icons are just temp solution. Not looking for "Make a better banner" more on the total design.

It's a pretty simple skin, which is what I think you what you were going for. That being said, it does look like a default skin but you put your own twist on it, which looks good.
 
Yea slim a nice clean simple style was the plan.

@Dan Crew - Yeah I suppose just that the current skin has and uses 2 many images.
 
i like the color scheme and the general feeling of the skin but it could use some work on the section cats and maybe banner a bit
 
It's very nice. Definitely my type of skin. However, fix your corners. Sometimes you have a rounded edge, most of the time you have square edges..

Not sure if im going to use or sell it yet.

VERY nice.
A few suggestions though, instead of using flat colors, try a slight gradient. Also, where it says test on the header, make it rounded? Other than that, its brilliant :D
 
Hmm, looks light, so if you have big forum, it will load very fast. Blue is my fav color so :P Looks really nice, easy on eyes. I would change forum icons tho. Also don't use images for buttons, rank images etc. play with CSS instead, that will help aswell ;)
