New Kloxo Installation - FTP ECONNREFUSED FileZilla

Seems like this is a Kloxo problem week.

Had this problem on a client's VPS where he was not able to access the FTP after a clean Kloxo Installation.

After enabling debugging and logging the errors, found that the problem is with the pure-ftpd package.

So you can fix it by :

yum downgrade pure-ftpd
sh /script/upcp
sh /script/cleanup

After you have executed those commands you just need to Reboot the Server and then it should be working fine.

I agree that it's buggy but that is one of the most easy to use control panel that is also free.

Instead of discarding the software entirely we can atleast report patches and hope that it will be fixed soon. It's quite an effort in building such a good software and releasing it out for free.

I suggest people to use actively developed and updated Kloxo-MR.
original Kloxo project seems pretty much dead (last release Kloxo 6.1.4 released 21. Mar, 2011) :/

edit: correction, latest kloxo is Kloxo 6.1.12, released 03-mar-2012
