New ddl script ~ topddl ~ fully customizable!

Hello all,

After a fairly lengthy period of time, I've finally been able to finalize my DDL script. I'm not the most talented coder, but with the time I put into it there shouldn't be any errors, and it should be up 100%!

not to be a dbag but you just editted wcddl didnt you? also in your config is the username and pass, and actually it is wcddl just slightly modified...

You can test the demo there. Bread is a great guy . For first time and first release it is a great DDL submitter. When you make a new product it lacks a lot of little thing and slowly by slowly it evolves and becomes good. Everything is not perfect. If you have nothing good to say about it, please don't comment.

Correction, the randomly generated password that I use for my mysql server on my local linux server WAS still in there. Pretty useless, but yeah I forgot to remove it from the quick fix I released. Slightly modified my arse! Did you even look at anything other than config.php, the only thing thats left from wcddl is the admin panel which is going before the next major release.

I did I said nice style... But sorry as for the code... learn some proper coding styles and proper formatting. Would it hurt to TAB (indent)

common.php, leftbar.php, download.php, config.php. A lot of stuff you left in there. Not saying you did nothing, just don't claim something your own when it's not fully yours. At least give credit to WCDDL. They're a great bunch and they work really hard.

Ffs i have and in so many places its not funny! Even jmz said it was fine. Oh and you dont know how wrong you are, name one line of code in common.php that isnt my own! I could also say the same for leftbar.php i think... I havent got code on me.

well considering the common.php contains $wcddl_root_path or w.e i figured it was ripped. look you did a lot of coding, but you still didn't do the whole thing. at least be a decent person and give credit to WCDDL. They get ripped off all the time.

I never made a $wcddl_root_path var so he's written that file himself.
He said he gives credit in the files so if he does that's fine by me (until he codes his own from a blank sheet, if he does).

Alright, as long as you're OK with it. I've just seen a lot of rip offs of WCDDL and I really like to help you guys out whenever I see a rip off.

After looking at it bread, the code seems ok but there are areas you can improve on (as always). Mainly change addslashes to mysql_real_escape_string when running SQL queries containing request vars.

Also, it seems an odd tip but keep the amount of files down. For other audiences, more files means more user-friendly GUIs. For this audience though (warez webmasters), they prefer less files which they can then heavily modify with ease.
