Why not using same topics of your blogs ?

polljunction is a "general" forum. That type of forum is not very successful. Like somebody already mention it, "start a forum on a subject which you are passionate about" because at the begining you will have to add content to your forum, and the easiest way to do this is when you know the subject.

Yes, as Gillian says. Start forum on topic of your blogs and that's it. If you separate it from your google accounts, it can be used as another blog booster.
