We Are Planning to establish our Own File Hosting Site and Need a Dedicated Server For It..

Host Must Provide
1. 2nd drive for backup
2. 8IPs, with different subnet
3. Able to Add Disk
4. Separate Disk For Back UP
5. All Complaints Must be Forwarded to Us.
6. Do not take Down the site Easily for Complaints.
7. Knowledgeable Support

Hello mate,

On our Netherlands location, you can host everything - except for child porn, phishing and spam!

We will never bother you with complaints or anything at all! Not even DMCA!

Please check out our NL plans on our site www.vps9.us

You can add 2nd HD, 8 ips i can give you included, separate HD's/upgrades

Use leaseweb, they forward all dmca complaints to you (I recieved up to 40 a week, yet no suspension of servers).

1 Dedicated server is a bit low though. Get 1 for the website itself, and 1 for the files hosted (minimum requirement to start a filehost..)

why would the site itself need a dedicated if it is not hosting anything?

to handle everything not related to download process itself - sql queries used for counting traffic, load balancing etc. It will make things easier in long run, since systems like those need to be scalable, and he will need separate server for static http traffic later anyway...

Just starting out on a smalltime scale there is no need. I think a vps would do it. You can get a vps that will compare to a dedicated at a fraction of the cost

we can read. That's what we are talking about. vps9 has offered this
 
@ JJJ that was directed at shubhank008, which is under the impression he wants to directly host warez, while he clearly stated he wants to open a filehost, and didn't mention hosting warez anywhere.

I wouldn't take a VPS though, a filehost isn't your average wordpress site.
 
@ The Coon I thought it may have been directed to him so I wasn't sarcastic to you for that reason :p wasn't 100% sure lol

You can get some powerful VPS solutions. I think with a few of them he could cut his cost down for a couple months. It's more then likely going to fail due to lack of funds anyway. Might as well save some funds.

Do you have full access to the server? or just in case in the future if we need to add additional disk..
 
Yes, i have full access.

I am a long term partner with the datacenter :)

You can add RAM/HD's with a one time fee later on, no problem at all.

We just dont care about DMCA on our netherlands location.
