I was told to open a support ticket - but i can't login to knowinservers .Anyone else getting this message ?

I highly doubt thats a legit email, no one gives that stupid email, definitely not knowinservers.

I suggest pm'ing Allan or Glenn, they will resolve the issue in a jiffy :)

PS - Opening threads never helps, you should have just pm'ed them, take advantage of their presence at WJ.

Your vps was suspended since it was sending DDOS attacks.
So, Its Either You sending those attacks or someone who had access to your vps is doing it. Obviously you are not doing it, so its probably hacked.

If his VPS was sending "DDoS attacks", there must be some script uploaded on his site, if there isn't any. There's no possible way anyone will believe.

FYI the script used was something called PXconfig

a stupid reason to suspend vps,if you cant handle ddos on server wide,why do you sale vps? ddos protection is almost common on networks,and more over it is no reason to suspend a vps for this and tell the owner that "your vps was hacked"
 
ddos protection is not very common. Its quite rare. Specialist DDOS protection is ridiculously expensive. Outgoing DDOS attacks are a common TOS no-no. Glen saw the traffic and concluded it in your favour. Why hate on someone thats trying to help you?
 
And because the server was hacked you suspend the user?Thats a stupid reason.he didn't do it.someone else was.So you fix the problem and you notify the user to protect better his server.

What a Stupid and Dumb Hater.
How do you control outgoing ddos attack ?
What would you do if you were the host ? Offcourse instant suspension is the only solution. DDos protection is not common at least not for warez hosting vps.

Do you realize that its Unmanaged ?
we are not supposed to provide this kind of support,Its the clients responsibility to monitor his vps.

@ Knowin - Unsuspend the vps - delete the script (if any ) & i'll change the password

* Also send me the list of all ips that that logged onto the vps
 
Its not a permanent suspension people. OP just needs to open a ticket and get the server back.

The VPS was being used to DDOS. I think it was a sensible decision to suspend the user until the issue was sorted out to minimize misuse of bandwidth and resources.
