Modify date for .dat file

Dear folk

I need to modify date on this attached .dat file belong to a software called Line Sweep Tool in the link below :

Is there a way to modify date ? Yes I know if I convert it to .jpg can be done but I need to modify on .dat file,,,,please see snapshot below

No one has the .dat file to see what info is in it & you need a specific test instrument to create one.

Open it in https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ and see if it's a string or a Posix time integer or float. If it's neither, good luck reverse engineering it with a debugger.
