There is something like this in the single.php of the theme... i believe this is the one which checks for links... not sure if this is the one as im not into coding and stuff, but just guessed... somebody can confirm?? and also suggest how to implement in our blogs?

Code:
jQuery(function() { 	jQuery('div.post a').filter(function() { 		return (/^http:\/\/(www\.)?(hotfile|fileserve|wupload|filesonic|uploadstation|uploaded)\./).test(this.href); 	}).click(function() { 		pageTracker._trackEvent('FH Link Click', this.hostname, this.href); 	});

The plugin you have posted isn't the same plugin as the one requested in the first post.

The plugin in the first post is in directory "link_checker" and the plugin you pointed us to is creating "broken-link-checker" directory.

Broken Link Checker plugin is a good plugin but I think you have to code your own modules for it as not all of the filehosts are added to it.

I think this is used to make links clickable and not a linkchecker.

yeah thanks for the suggestions guys but that isnt it
see the link in my first post
kudos to the person finding this plugin,i think im not the only one looking for this!

Also interested in this just looking at an Ajax Line Checker with a view to turning it into a cron job rather than running in a browser window on a button press.
