Laptop problem

ok so my laptop start to have smoke come out of it. i turned it off then left for a few hours, thinking it overheateded or somehing. now when i go to charge it, it doest work. any ideas?

where was the smoke coming from and did you cover any of the vents before it happened you could have fried the cpu since the fan cooling it is not that big really try leaving it for a few hours and see if it works then

Maybe you friend the power supply or at least the part that allows you to charge the battery or the battery itself... ='/

well. Smoke usually = capacitor. if it squeaked as well then defo. Either way its gonna cost u a whole bunch o cash to repair, so your better off getting a new one if its old.

Hello,

Do you trust yourself enough to open it up? I would take it apart and carefully check the motherboard. See if any of the capacitors are blown or leaky.
