Works on most older machines mmuyskens, but makes hard work for future HW updates, BIOS flashes & service requests as the Service Tag can be very hardware specific. Good quick fix for older machines, but means re-writing the Service Tag to the EEPROM to get a "Legit" machine with full support though.
