KVM On Demand question

Hello guys. I have a quick question. It's about KVM on demand. I have experience with using IPMI on servers. It basically lets you connect to your dedicated server through another IP and you can see the server's screen as you are standing in front of the server. It lets you install other operating system of your own build too.

So my question, is KVM similar to these functions? Can I load my OS build onto the dedicated server and install it (.iso file type)?

It's the same thing. Make sure the KVM device you buy/rent do have option to load iso and on older model KVM devices this is an optional feature.
