Reddit is a mixed bag, if you gain traffic that are useless, you might overload your servers. Let's say you run a video site, and the traffic you get from traffic is 50% from Tier 3 country, you'll have to bare the server costs while getting nothing in return to cover the costs. U will need to target subreddits that are Tier 1 countries focused maybe different language. Just my 2 cents.

Reddit is a mixed bag and your results are going to depend on which subreddits you post on and what you're promoting.
My advice is start by blocking certain nations from your site. Take out India, Nigeria and Pakhistan.
