I have a iPhone 3gs, and its only showing the apple logo since i connected to the pc for the first time.

I tried getting it into FDU Mode, i watched a few tutorials and i am sure i am doing all the steps properly.

Here is how i do it:

1) Open my iTunes
2( Connect the iPhone to the PC
3) Pres Power and Round button together for 10 seconds.
4) After seconds realease the power button and keep pressing the Round Button for another 10 seconds.

I am sure im doing this in the right way, but the thing is, after these steps to get it on DFU Mode, my iPhone goes black, iTunes recognizes it on a Recovery mode, i click on Restore button on iTunes, and after a few seconds my iPhone's screen gets white, then after a few seconds it gets the apple logo back again, even tho the Update is running on iTunes, and after it finishes the Apple logo still stays there.

I've tried this for like 10 times already, but no success?

UPDATE#

So after i did the steps to get it to DFU Mode, the iTunes update continued to be done, and now finished, but now my iTunes is showing this:

Code:
The SIM Card inserted in this Iphone does not appear to be supported

Only compatible SIM Cards from a supported carries may be used to activate iPhone.
Please insert the SIM that came with your iPhone or visit a supported Carrier's store to reiceive a replacment SIM card.

But, the apple logo on the iPhone is still showing, no changes on it.
Thanks alot.

Yeah, Hard reset.
Hold the Home Button and the Power Button.
The screen will go off, then the apple logo will appear. You can let go now, and it will continue to reboot.

Hope that works.

DaringHost has the best response with the DFU, it usually fixes most issues, but do note that everything is going to be erased from the phone (music, contacts, notes, etc.) Also, if you try restoring while in DFU and you get an error, post it here, and I'll do my best to help. :)

It didn't work, the apple logo is still showing there even after i put the phone in DFU mode and everything was done succesfuly, its still the same apple logo.
