What this site is doing is an old (not recommended) way.
You can easily do this using html5 geolocation.

Why is this way recommended over they way they are doing it?
Its simple the web is full of privacy implications using this that way the user is first asked if they wish to share there location rather than just ha we know where you are.
In most cases this will give the user more control if they decided against giving a random website their exact location.
