/index.php? Remove

I want to remove /index.php? from the urls.. .

Like..

Normal URL : http://mydomain.com/index.php?/topic/1-new-post/

I want to remove index.php? from the Url so it makes it look like this

http://mydomain.com/topic/1-new-post/

Or to replace both /index.php?/topic/ with the forum name.
