In search of Email Marketing Solution

I am badly in need of an email application or service provider of course which should be FREE for sending emails.

Sending emails doesn't refer to spamming stuff but a news letter or a notification once in a while which would be about once in 3 weeks or so. I tried mail chimp but there is a limitation of 2000 users which is a huge restriction as I have a database of more than 7000 users (Legit)

Is there any application to fulfill my needs? Or any SMTP server would also suffice because I will use that to email stuff to people instead of a mailing list. This has always been a problem since months for me and hoping to get a solution in our very own forum.

I am presuming that you have your own hosting. So use a php script to read the database and send the emails.

Find the server limitations for per mails sent in a single day from your host. If you have a dedicated or VPS you set the limits.


You will need to inform google and yahoo in advance so they do not block you after the first few hundred mails sent as a spammer. Let them know you are sending a wanted email to your members.
