Once a week only

After months of happy usage of the img.yt platform and consistent payouts, I suddenly got my account blocked.
Surprisingly all links and photos are still online... meaning I just got skimmed out of the profit for the views.

Sent an e-mail to support on June 11th, still no reply.

Beware! Once your photos are popular they just kick you out... it seems..

It's once a week only and if you already have a payment pending you need to wait for that one to complete at the end of the week.
Which did mean for me that I had +50$ at a certain point pending, and then they blocked my account!

They blocked my account as soon as my paid views exceeded 1.50 per day . And like someone else commented, it seems most of my photos are still up in spite of them blocking my account access & failing to send my last payout.So the problem apparently, is that I was earning more than they were willing to pay & NOT a problem the content itself. I feel like Diogenes searching to find an honest man in a land populated by thieves & con-artists.

Jun. 27, 2017 - Perverts and profit
During the last two weeks we've banned 68 affiliates who've been uploading child pornography (CP) and were involved in the distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Amongst those who were banned are also affiliates who used IMG.YT for legal content but posted it on websites known to distribute child pornography (kittygfs, mrvine, camkittys, several chans etc). If you find people posting on such sites please report them and we'll credit your account with a $10 bounty. This only applies to content uploaded before June 27th, 2017.

We have also banned the use of URL shorteners and URL monetization services. In multiple cases they were used not only to generate extra profit and rating down traffic qualtiy but also to hide the origin of traffic which in most cases was from inappropriate jailbait related websites.

Once all perverts are banned we'll review affiliate costs and may bump up the tier rewards. Proper content poses less risk to advertisers meaning more ads can be shown and more income can spread amongst affiliates. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for sharing that message, amazing!

So: "legal content, posted on websites that have been known to distribute the wrong content" is the explanation to keep all the photos up with paid advertising, but ban the affiliate and steal their earned cash. I'm not surprised they should be able to bump the prices for the few lucky ones left. Indeed "more income to spread".

This means: if you are unlucky enough for someone to post your photo on a "dodgy website", you get banned and they steal your money. I hate program teams treating us like idiots... Such a shame, it was such a great host and now so corrupt...

Sorry man, but that has become very unclear, as they ban you now, if you post legal photos anywhere, that might be known to someone for posting the wrong content at some point, good luck with that ;)

by your nickname i can already guess what you upload, and depending on what location img.yt is hosted, they can get in a shitton of trouble with all those "model" pictures stored on they´re servers.

If so, then why did they not remove the content of the people they banned?
Other (decent) file hosts remove photos they deem unappropriate, they don't ban the account and keep the profit, that's just a lack of business ethics and/or respect. But I did read that it has new owners, and it seems common that new ownership leads to running away with all ad revenue... with a total disrepect for the affiliates help to build the stream... just like imgtrex and just yesterday coreimg. It seems best to just leave them aside...

I've reached out and it turns out you are scum. There is absolutely no way you'd ever get your money. Uploading photos of sexually abused children and profiting off of it. Immoral, distasteful. You are unworthy of a WJunction account. :wave:
