I need help with setting up my website

Okay so i bought a domain at namecheap and bought a different host. Everytime i go to my domain it forwards me to free.park-your-domain.com with my website name as the title. How do i change that? like on my cpanel i got to my public_html and made index.html with coding that will display under construction as my page. I'm a total beginner. please help

You need to get the dns addresses from your host and go to namecheap and enter the new dns addresses.

^ Check the email you got when you bought your host (probably in there)

^ Then you should make a support ticket and ask for their dns if they don't mention it on their site in some kind of knowledgebase

Just ask them and they will tell you.

He is pointng to the old dns now. That is wy he needs the new ones. Maybe putting his host url might give him a useable dns.

Ahhh that makes sense, but you are right, entering the hosts url should give you the information.
