Once again, the download count is way off, like a few days last month. Are rar files not being counted again ? I have some that get at least 100 hits a day and they are not even up to 10 the past two days.
 
Thought I would give this host a shot. After 24 hours I've had 27 dls. Download count is WAY off for sure. The file I posted cost me $16, you're costing me money Hugefiles:139:. With such low rates to begin with you should at least count the files that DO get downloaded. I should reach minimum payment in the year 2067, I will report back then. :p

when approaching the minimum payout ($14.96 USD), my click count decreased dramatically.
normally I can get 290-310 clicks a day. but now I only got 8 clicks for today

Yes, as I noted there has been a SERIOUS counting issue the past couple days. I upload a couple picture rar files each day and they get >100 same day, 2-3 times as many as the attached video. Now less than 10 each in 2 days while videos have >50-75 each ?? I KNOW there is something fishy going on.

There is NO counting issue.

The system counts the same as it always did, there is no "slow down" towards the minimum payout or anything like it.

There is an issue counting my picture zip files. I have been loyally using HF over a year and my users are very happy. But I know, by now, what to consistently expect each day I upload and the BIG decrease in rar dl's accounts for the 'sudden drop'. Last month, same thing and it took a couple days to fix itself then. Just saying

I'm trying to get a Silver extension for 3 months like before instead of Gold for one, if you can do for long time uploader. Thanks, user name - mrgeek

Are people forced to sign up to download? Some people are complaining about having to register.

Now, I see why there's been a recent 'dropoff'. After clicking thru to 'Create Downlaod Link' leads to page that says 'no file' ! 'Losing' files just uploaded for last 3 days does not help. Not limited to one server either. Half the files have this message in the embedded video player and then 'no file' when try to dl. What gives ?, I have too many uploads to double-check them all over again. No wonder, the counts have fallen ! Very disappointing, very.

same here :(.. the daily download counts dropped sharply... feeling very very sad :(

I know what the problem, and why click count dropped dramatically.
hugefiles change the system, the download link only available for registered users.
users not like being forced, and the uploader will leave you because no downloads their files

registration is NOT necessary for download. i just checked that they have added separate FREE & Premium download buttons :neutral:

Clearly, the HugeFiles authority have shifted the revenue earnings from showing advertisements to free downloaders to selling premiums. Problem is, i guess they have been strictly limiting the download speed for free users & might not be providing resume support for broken downloads. Either way its a serious discouragement to the free users of this site as it kind of compels them to buy premium account. While I totally understand the strategic reasons of doing so, it kills the very uniqueness of HugeFiles that we all were a huge fan of and makes it a yet another paid filehost. The downloaders frustration is reflected as steep decline of my download counts for the last 3 days-

Hey guys,

First of all, don't worry! Anyone that suffered from a loss of income from any change that we made - will be compensated.
Meaning, you can send us using the contact ticket system these screen shots of the graphs and screen shots of your daily earning before and after and we will make sure to make it up to you.
We are currently looking into some drop we experienced in the system, the switch to PPS is currently under review, it's not sure to become permanent.
So, there is a chance we will be bringing back the free download for all version soon enough, it will be decided in a few days.

Always know, we are here for you, even if you think your earnings are down, we are here to make it alright again :)

Ok, at the moment, until we figure everything out.
We decided to remove the PPS option, it's back to "regular" mode.
