HTC/Android Roms ?

Sup kiddos, Im looking for smooth runing HTC/Android roms and or themes.

Im geting tired of mine i had my HTC Hero r00ted but one day booted up in safemode and formated my entire phone :'(

Anywho so now im back on stock-nonrooted

Anywords would be gladly appreciated as im looking for in depth web-sites.

I have the Hero with google as well and I completely hate the phone waiting to get a new phone.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=821719 cyanogen mod is by far the best/smoothest/fastest rom available for my nexus one not just saying that because i work on the team but i have always used either cyanogen or enmothers roms.

I dun hate it, I like it really when i had it rooted it ran smooth as fuck, Theirs actually two versions of the Hero the USA & EU, the EU version has always had issues due to its cpu.
