How to ban ip according to Hosts/DC/Countries for reducing Spam

hi guys,
banning spam eats most time than writing contents for sites.

i think most of the spams are from servers(atleast 95%) and not from home connection, so if we banned the hosts/Datacenter ip's means, possible we can escape from spam (i think most spam ip's are banned means then spam is reduced)

so how to find the ip ranges of hosts and Datacenter..???

Most spams come from Russian and Ukrain hosts/DC.

So guys please post your opinion regarding this :)

Note:
i will update my progress in this first post :sun:

You can check your hosting logs to see what IP the spammers come
from, then do a whois look up on that IP to find the full IP
range for that datacenter.

Then block that range in .htaccess.

If you want to block by country, this site will generate the
block code by country:

Code:
 http://www.ip2location.com/blockvisitorsbycountry.aspx
