How often do you backup your database for your website?

tar the mysql dir & scp it to another server

but now i do it like once every 2-3 days

Efly time i submit link to katZ ect i do mysql backup it are about 4 times a day and efly 15 days i backup all files in publich using ftp becors if i do a full back up it wil take weeks it over 1 Tb :'( but i dont take all files from my fileshare site
