Some services don't like, when you have lots of referrals, their explanation will be, after they ban you:

You put zero effort in. Anyone can suggest to a thousand people to signup to a service, you have no files and you expect to just sit there and earn money off other uploaders hard work.

Nothing to do with breaking their TOS, their TOS (everyone's) says, that they can kick you, even if you didn't do anything, just becaue they don't want to pay you. And they are covered by law with that... Just in case you guyz didn't know.
