How honests are FileHosts?

Hello all,

I am interested to know your thoughts on how honest file hosts are.

How do you know if the statistics they show you are true? How do you know when you've had 1000 downloads, or which country they came from?

Also, why does it matter where they came from?

I think all filehosts are extremely honest,also they never cheat and we all trust them as our parents.We are all kinda big happy family ATM.And it doesn't matter where they come from - most important is domain.FBI can control .com & .net domains so we prefer them coz beeing in trusted hands always.Nice poll BTW :sun:
 
Seems to be a number of people on this forum claiming certain hosts dont pay up. Obviously some, if not most do. Just trying to figure out what people find good/bad about file hosts and see what people would like to see happen in the industry.
 
Filesonic are not honest, I affiliated with them and they didnt pay me 1 $ towards the members that went through my site and bought premium with them. They are known for this
 
filehosts are always scam or shave ur sales

I worked with one filehost before, I have 180 premium accounts sales over two months

after those massive filehosts shut down, I opened one filehost as my own (only contains my own files), guess what? for one month, I got 200+ premium accounts,
I am so glad I paid for someone to build the filehost for me so I dont need to rely on those cheap ******

when I worked with filehosts for two months, I got $2.5K for two months, net income
now with my own host, I got $3.1K minus $300 server fee + $500 software configure / hardware config maintain (one time fee), I still earn $2.1K last month which is way better than those filehosts.

If I am on the same route, I might get another 100 premium account next month, that will be roughly $2k, minus the server fee, the net income will be $1.7K, and no need to worry about DMCA unless my server take down by court or filehosts scame away

When it comes down to money, no one is honest.

Look at it this way, if a popular filehost was offered to give out affiliate personal information, let's say top 5000 earners or rot in prison for 10-20 years, what you think, which option they would chose?

To save your ass or to enjoy cash they made and sell you all out?
