Then wats the use of 2GBPS ??? if its limited to 10MB per connection ... if a guy pays for 2GBPS connection and he is limited to 10MB per connection then wats the use of getting 2GBPS ???
As server cannot handle so much parallel downloads even after opening 4-5 sborg tabs we cannot open another tab ..So wats the use of 2gbps then ???

imazabe@ These are still 2GBit servers because you can get up to 2GBit by running more downloads/uploads. For example, if you have 10 downloads, you may get up to 1Gbit.

sorry hosthatch i am not going to criticize you on this but i am telling frankly as a buyer that whats the use of getting just 10 mbps by using a 2 gbps VPS server thats gonna be a waste of money and time also

2 Gbps is just a marketing gimmick to attract more customers.
When you copy something on your HDD on your home PC how much speed do you get honestly? It's between 50MB/s and 100MB/s and you are using that HDD on your own.
The server is sharing the HDDS with so many people and you are expecting a better HDD speed than your home computer which you are using alone?
2Gbps means 250 MB/s. Can you get that disk write speed on your own computer which you use ONLY on your own? It is not possible for HDD to get that speed per person after sharing with so many people on the server.
You can get more speed on 1Gbps port than 100 mbps port. But you will never get more speed on a 2Gbps port than 1Gbps port. Even if you download 100000 files at a time you won't get 2Gbps be it cachefly or whatever.
2Gbps unmetered is only a marketing false promise to fool you people who think you will get more speed on a 2Gbps line than 1Gbps line and so pay more. You are simply paying extra simply thinking you would get more speed with 2Gbps. Nothing else.
Now we all are RedHat Certified professionals and are very well experienced. What I said above is 100% true. You are simnply fighting for 2Gbps. In practical world 2Gbps is not faster than 1Gbps. How many of you know about server bandwidth graphs? If you knew them you would realise what I am saying.
If anyone is still thinking to get more speed with 2Gbps you are wrong. So please stop fighting and give your time to make your knowledge from Google before fighting with things supernatural.
And do you know a TRUE 2Gbps costs thousands of dollars. Either accept what you are receiving or move on to a different provider.
