Hi,

These do charge more at the moment (not for XP but XP is unstable) but we are working on it and we will soon have a much better/cheaper structure. We have the cheaper licenses but we have not made the new structure public yet. Just open a ticket for it and you'll get the cheap pricing. We are able to give free licenses on the bigger plans.

It is just like a Dedicated Server. By default, 2 can connect but you can setup Remote Desktop (terminal services) and more will be able to connect.


Note to all: You may see slower ticket response times (up to 6 hours) and orders might take longer to process but still under 24 hours once you've passed the fraud checks. We've got a huge amount of orders and pre-sales tickets in the last few days due to our new services. We will be back to normal 10 minute reply times and 2-3 hours setup timings on Monday.

Edit: Already back to normal! :)

I'm trying to order "Hatch-VDS 2Gbit NL #1" plan, I choose OS but after I pressed update cart it show me list of dedicated servers and cart is empty?? And is it better not to order Windows XP?

Please try again. I received that error too but it gone when I tried again.

As the HostHatch's supporter said with me, Windows 2k8 has better speed (stable) than Windows XP.

I'm not sure why this happened but I see you've ordered via a ticket now. I've checked and it works fine. :)

You are right. We have faced performance issues with Windows XP so we recommend you to use Windows Server Editions, however, it is still up to you.

Yes, you can use your own License with no problems. :)


New pricing structure for Windows Server 2008 Enterprise has been launched. These licenses are now available for $5/month.
 
As im old customer of hosthatch :) just came back now and bought the USA VPS i hope to have the same experience as i had in past with them :) great support and good servers

I want to buy a VPS for private leech server (but lots of traffic)

you can expect 10-15Tb transfer each month

my current VPS is 4*1.1Ghz 5G ram, 500G hard disk

I want to have something like 4*2.4 or higher, 5Gb ram, 1Tb hard drive, 1 or 2Gbit ports

how much can u offer me on this?

and can I change ip address after my server banned from hosting company?

one last thing, do u have 100Mb file to test download speed on those servers?

10-15TB traffic is no problem for us. We have customers who use 50+ TB with no problems.

We can provide you with what you need, but I cannot give you the pricing here. You will have to open a sales ticket for that (https://www.hosthatch.com/billing/submitticket.php) -- we can change your IP for free, but only once in a month for free. Otherwise, it will be $2/IP change.


We have 500MB, 1GB and 10GB test files. Please mention that in the ticket so we can provide you a test link there.
