histats vs google analytics

Google analytics beats histats but you should check out piwik! I think its one of the best alternatives for google analytics.

Sorry for hijacking this thread but as of now analytics shows 9 users online while histast reports 0. Why is that?. Shouldn't the results be more or less similar?.
