I havn't used phpbb for a couple years, since nulled vb is preferred.

*yourstyle*/templates/*location*(ie, header.dpl or footer.dpl)


again, havnt used phpbb for a while, but i'm pretty sure thats how you ad buttons/advertisements.
Just saw that no one else was even trying to help so i gave it a shot.

you have a cuple of options to that.

Thos buttons are to be always visible-> on every pages.
Visible only to guest
Visible only to logged members
On forums after the first post.
...

Overal_header -> head banner, button, banner
Overal_foother -> banner4

The otheres i guess are in forumlist_body
