Help, im publishing my first wordpress

dear friends
im trying to start my first wordpressblog, i never own any site before. i collected tuts from google,
then
1) i did registered a domain
2) bought hosting
3) changed name servers
4) installed wordpress through cp

but still my site is not up. did i miss anything???

Nameservers should do. Do you have the setup email the host sent you? They might have sent you the IP address of your site.
If that loads, then it is the DNS propagation that is delaying.
If it does not load, then you have made some mistake in either installing wordpress, or with the domain settings.

bro y are you trying to fixing that? if you bought host then its totally responsibility of your hoster to setup ur nameservers & DNS whatever, pls my recommendation you should consult with you hoster!

If you did everything right, the propagation should normally be done in a few hours. Just point out your Nameservers, and setup the @ and redirect for www.

In case you've bought the domain and host from one provider (which is usually not done by many) then you have more of a reason to contact the support and let them fix everything for you.

What hosting you have?shared or VPS?

If you have shared all you had to do is ftp the files in www folder of your server and then setup it.(DONE)
Then enter the nameservers in your domain registerar.
