Nope, but I have an iPod Touch, difference between iPod and iPhone is camera and phone features, everything else is the same.

iPhone is a great device, not saying it's bad or anything, but to me Nexus One wins, specifications, open source..etc.
 
yeah, like you hinted on earlier, i dont think it should be thought of as a "phone" - more like a hand-held computer that has the ability to make calls.
 
Too bad many nexus one customers are experiencing rather horrible 3G connectivity issues and supposedly Google aren't going to fix it.

Android is a great OS, but the phone could be better (e.g. touch accuracy has been shown to be less accurate than that of the iphone).

That's what there trying to do now days, make a device that does everything a computer does and also side features for example Phone call related.

Telephones > Payphones > Mobiles > Computer phones?

100% agree, there technology has shocked the world at what apple can do.

That's what there trying to do now days, make a device that does everything a computer does but more and smaller, and also side features for example Phone call related.

100% agree, there technology has shocked the world at what apple can do.


Soon there will be no more mobiles/cell phones (whatever name you call them) It will eventfully get updated with newer stuff that can do much better things but just have the option of making calls on it. Who knows what its going to be. Hopefully im around to see it :).
 
It has a far better touchscreen, higher accuracy and such.
For now, I agree android is a better OS though.

But with OS 4 on the way, who knows whats coming next.
 
Android recently overtook iPhone sales in the US but it still a bit behind worldwide.

This is a true statement. The only reason it is down in sales is because of the leak that people heard of how great the new iphone 4 look and UI of it.. I would imagine for sales to be down because why get a new 3gs when you could wait a few months and get the new iphone 4.
 
Definitely, if we're talking about a pin point accuracy Apple wins no doubt. But a human finger is far from a pin point, usability wise, texting, dialing, selecting..etc it's working great to be honest.

One thing I hate about N1, which I just discovered now, battery life, not good, bad Google Bad.
