Hello guys,

Somebody hacked our system and deleted a big part of the VPS servers from the SolusVM control panel.
The data is backed up, so we are doing all we can to restore ALL VPS servers. All nodes are up and running. Please be patient. We do all we can to get your VPS up.
 
Tonight at 1:04 AM (Italian time) I received an email from noc@gigaservers.net titled "gigaservers closed" with this message "Guys,I'm sorry to tell you limehost.ro terminated every single server of ours due to illegal content you host

Your data is not recoverable,server are formated by limehost.ro

Were very sorry for this,good luck with find another host partnet!"

I'm so glad to see that it was sent from an hacker and you aren't really closed :)
 
@Crow: I don't really know... Probably we will loose lot of VPS data. We have old backups. The damage was huge... I'm really sorry for all users who loosed data because of this incident..

Be patient, their systems were compromised.

InterWAP, ensure you provide updates to your customers along with any extension dates for the servers.

Opening disputes on PayPal wont solve the problem.. We are working now in backing up our website and database to have contact with you all (the customers). We will reactivate the VPS of all clients. If the data is not recoverable we will give you a new VPS and +10 free days. I know that probably wont help you very much, but it's all we can do. Please be patient. We will write here once we have any news.

For the users who had a VPS with us and were affected by the hacking attack: Please enter our website www.GigaServers.net and register. After this, place an order with the VPS plan you had with us. Don't pay the invoice. Open a ticket and write the transaction ID of the last payment to us. If we can restore your VPS, we will do it and give you 5 free days. If not, we will give you a new VPS + 10 free days.

i have just ordered my beginner VPS with Windows without any problem... and just sent the ticket ;) Thanks for all, your service still rocks! :)
Edit: They just replied to my ticket and gave me a new VPS + 10 day. Always the best, amazing support speed.
