Ok let me give some insight on what i do.

I get roughly 2800-4000+ downloads per day. All 100% are porn.

Here are the active (i still upload to them) services i use:

Depositfiles - (3000+ files uploaded and 600-900 downloads per day)
Fileserve - (200+ files uploaded and 200-300 downloads per day)
Hotfile - (1000+ files uploaded and 700-900 downloads per day)


Here are the dormant (i don't upload to them anymore) services i use:

Filesonic - (700+ files uploaded and 200-275 downloads per day)
Megaupload - (600+ files uploaded and 600-1000 downloads per day)
Rapidshare - (400+ files uploaded and 400-700 downloads per day)


Every file i upload has a Depositfiles,Hotfile & Fileserve link.
This is really the only way you can achieve 1000's of downloads per day.
Besides, if you don't provide alternate links someone else will.



Here's a few notes about each service in order from best to worse:

Fileserve - Best service out right now. Remote Upload works great. Never had any problems with payment. Really have nothing bad to say about them.

Hotfile - Popular filehost but has a stupid "ranking" system. If you want to upload a file more than 400mb you have to be a premium member. Never had any problems with payment.

Depositfiles - Not popular at all. A lot of downloaders flat out hate them. One of the great bonuses are the free gold account codes you get with a certain amount of downloads. You can use these codes for yourself give them away or sell them. I make $100+ a month selling codes. Never had any problems with payment.

Filesonic - Once they switched from sharingmatrix to filesonic everything went downhill. Very unpopular among downloaders. Remote upload feature works great though. Never had any problems with payment.

Megaupload - The most popular service but little money can be made. 100,000 downloads = $100. Takes them forever to pay too.

Rapidshare - Ton's of downloads but no $$$$.

Filefactory - Avoid this company!!!! Pure trash!!!!



Here's a few tips if you upload videos:

Always only upload single link videos.
Never rar/zip a video and never add a password.
Always upload the screen-shot to two different services just in-case one goes down.

My tip would be the same as stated many times before in this thread - spread your old links and upload less. I myself uplaod 1 - 3 files per day, that is about 300 - 400 Mbs daily. Each file gets me around 30 downloads per day.
Also try finding a niche which is not popular among uploaders but can be preferred by downloaders, a.k.a not porn. In my experience, porn movies won't give you many hits as forums are overspammed by it (by the time i make a post on some forum within porn directory and refresh it someone else makes 20 posts above mine). The first such type that comes to my head is to upload some good old and popular TV series, which are hard to get, and do not upload everything in one session - upload like 3 episodes a day and post them in a single thread so that users will see all your links and thread will constatnly stay on top of forum.
Also a good thing to do would be to check forums time zone, for example i've read that Asian users (no offence, i just read that somewhere) are the ones that spam forums the most, and most file hosts give highest earnings for U.S. downloads. Good thing is that when it is day time in U.S. it is night in Asia, so you should count the hours and post when most users are browsing forums and the least posts are made. This should give one nice hits.

I can get 600-800 using 3 file hosts but I rather get 600-800 per filehost. It seems people are scared to download from hotfile/fileserve/etc but I drop a rapidshare I can get 300 downloads from 4 links within minutes.

I dont see how ppl get 7000 downloads a day off of fileserve like this one user I know unless they own a website but he claim he doesnt.

the problem is posting during peak hours your threads will be buried by an avalanche of other people's posts. post during off peak
