How a noob became a forum nazi with 3001 posts, Liked: 1,364 Time, Rep Power: 18, Remove many scammers, scammers, dupes, trolls, collect just 1 friend, be both disliked and liked by the members and the other staff.
The story of 1 members Virtual Online Life and Journey through the internet community known as WJ.
I am sure there is lots more to add but it surprises even myself of all that I have done while here. The members that I have interacted, exchanged thoughts, ideas, barbs, details , or other communication with is quite large and diverse.
In this time I have taken in so much I could never list it all but a few that may interest those that read this are below.
I wonder if the majority of members think I am fair and just in the majority of my staff actions. I know I am strict and inflexible but do my best to treat each infraction equally and without favoritism, the same justice for everyone. I know I get complaints but handle a large number of rules issues on daily basis, everyone knows I volunteer a great deal of time to the community.
I ponder what, if any, impact I have made on those that both had an actual exchange with me or just read a post I made. I wonder why these members and even lurkers react the way they do to my posts and actions. I think about if something I posted changed someones position or process in a positive or negative manner.
Most of you know I am 1 of the older members of this community for many my views, actions, quirks, and idiosyncrasies are more then likely closer in similarity to your parents or grandparents. I know there is a generation gap between many of the members and myself as well which effects the way we interact and comprehend each other.
I hope that the journey to this point had value to some of the members and staff here. Perhaps I can give another 3001 or more before my journey on WJ ends.
Unfortunately for everyone of us that happens sooner or later though.
This is my 3k post celebration, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
