Freeware program to split avi-mp4-wmv-mpeg archives

Hi.

I would like to ask you if you know any freeware program so that i can split/cut avi-wmv-mp4-mpeg files.

For example i have a video file which has duration 30 minutes and i want to get only the part from the 5th minute to the 10th eg

VrtualDub is good, but it works only with avi archives.

Any ideas?
